Attorney Michael Avenatti has been charged with trying to extort millions from Nike. Avenatti was arrested after tweeting that he was going to hold a press conference to “disclose a major high school/college basketball scandal perpetrated by Nike that we have uncovered.” Allegedly Avenatti demanded, $15 million to $25 million and an additional $1.5 million to keep quiet. And allegedly there are others coming for his neck for using his law license as a weapon.
Basically he is in trouble for bringing things out of the dark to the light unless he gets paid.
Attorney Michael Avenatti, is the attorney known for representing Stormy Daniels and in recent news the attorney that had gotten a hold of the alleged R. Kelly underage girls sex tapes, and turned them over to authorities.
And so the case of ‘Surviving R. Kelly’ vs. Robert Kelly plot has thickened and taken a very interesting twist.
