Lady Gaga wants Oprah Winfrey to run for president. During one of her shows in Las Vegas, Gaga gave a shout out to some of the celebrities in the audience, including Winfrey’s best friend, Gayle King. She asked King to ask “Big O” to consider running for presidency at some point, saying that “Oprah Winfrey, Oval Office, double-O” just makes sense to her. People pushed for an Oprah Winfrey 2020 campaign run after her speech at the 2018 Golden Globes, when she accepted the Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement. She said later, though, that she wouldn’t be able to do it because she doesn’t think it’s a clean business. It doesn’t hurt to ask I guess.
