It’s the first day of Black History and finally…New Jersey Democratic Sen. Cory Booker has decided to run for President of the United States!
Booker declared his bid for the White House in 2020 in a moving speech that called for the nation to “unite around a common purpose.”
Cory says that he wants the country “to see the faces of our leaders on television and feel pride, not shame.”
Sounds like Booker is ready for the fight and ready to throw a little shade, too!
