The nominations for the 2019 Oscars are in!
Tracee Ellis Ross and Kumali Nanjiani made the announcements this morning and “Black Panther” fans are dancing in the streets!
“Black Panther” has became the first superhero movie to be nominated for a Best Picture Oscar! The film also picked up nominations for Sound Mixing, Sound Editing, Production Design, Costume Design, Original Score and Original Song.
Regina King was nominated for her role in “If Beale Street Could Talk” and Lady Gaga picked up two nominations.
And Spike Lee got his first Oscar nomination for “BlackKKlansman.”
