We all need more friends like Ellen DeGeneres!

In a recent interview, Ellen DeGeneres told her Kevin Hart and her audience that she called the Academy herself to see about having Hart return to host the award show once again. Kevin had stepped down due to backlash for homophobic tweets he wrote almost ten years ago.
A lot of people were very unhappy with Ellen for taking Hart’s side.
So, Kevin responded on Instagram, saying:
“When did we get to the point where we forgot that we all learn, then we all have the ability to grow and with that growth comes a wealth of knowledge. You can’t change without a understanding of what GROWTH means. #Message #LiveLoveLaugh#HappySaturday …..Please grasp this and use it in 2019.”
Sounds like he’s working to use this Oscars blow up as a chance to learn and grow!
