New research out of Sweden reveals you’re more likely to have a heart attack on Christmas eve than any other day of the year!

The study says that the holidays are stressful and wreak havoc on heart health!

In fact, most of the attacks happen on Christmas Eve, making it thee worst day of the year for heart attacks.  Researchers found nearly a 40% increase in heart attacks that hit around 10 p.m. that day!

Seniors over the age of 75 and people with diabetes and a history of coronary artery disease were most likely to be among those having heart attacks.

Scientists think that there are many factors that may be involved of which emotional distress with along with anger, anxiety, sadness, grief, and stress increases the risk of an  attack including, “excessive food intake, alcohol, long distance traveling may also increase the risk of heart attack.”

So, this year lets try to keep the Peace at the Christmas dinner and at the Holiday Championship Spades Game!

Oh, yeah…and just eat the dang potato salad and stop quizzing everybody about who made it this year!
