One of my favorite television shows, Black-ish is celebrating it’s 100th episode with a tribute to the “High Priest of Pop.”
The upcoming tribute will feature a special salute to Prince and his impact on the Johnson family. Black-ish show is also set to include a big musical component because they are working with the late singer’s estate so that his most popular songs like “Kiss,” “When Doves Cry,” “Let’s Go Crazy,” and others can be included. The episode will air in November.
Did you know that Yara Shahidi, who plays Zoe, already shares a special connection to Prince? Her father was the pop star’s longtime photographer and after watching her show, Prince sent her an email congratulating her on her work!
I can’t wait to see this!
