As society embraces gender fashion fluidity, there’s a big problem: Where can men find properly sized shoes?
Syro, a new femme footwear line company sells heels and boots in men’s sizes 5-14. The styles are cute and trendy and look like regular every day shoes, not the type of performance shoes that you would see in a drag show. This could be life changing for shorter men.
Syro says their mission is ‘to promote femininity and encourage a fluid sense of style, regardless of whether a customer is male, trans or non-binary.’
I think this is a great idea! As any woman with feet bigger than a size 10 can tell you, it’s hard to find fly stilettos! And when men start really getting in on the high heel shoe game, stilettos are going to start get more comfortable! Me and my bad knees are waiting on that day!
I just wish this could have happened sooner. I just wonder if Prince would still be around if he had had better constructed shoes to perform in back in the day and wouldn’t have suffered with back and knee pain. Seriously.
