It was a good weekend for 20th Century Fox at the box office as their movie “The Predator” took the number one spot raking in $24 million. Coming in second was Warner Brothers horror film “The Nun” which brought in $18 million. The third spot was held by Lion’s Gates “A Simple Favor” which cashed in with $16 million. Studio 8’s urban drama “White Boy Rick” debuted in fourth place with $8.8 million, & Warner Brothers breakout film “Crazy Rich Asians” continues to hold in the top five with $8.7 million.
