Why are there headlines saying that Serena “had a meltdown?” Writers never say that about men when they make their voices heard, whether it’s on a tennis court or on a football field! The US Open was no different. Serena was penalized for speaking up. They said her black catsuit was too much. Another female player was fined for turning her shirt right-side out! Why is there so much policing of women and their bodies and their voices?
