Randy Moss is real stand up kinda fellow.
He used his induction into the NFL Hall of Fame, one of the biggest platforms in sports, to make a statement by wearing a tie that listed the names of some of the Black Lives that have been lost to police brutality.
The black tie was embroidered with gold names including: Tamir Rice, Eric Garner, Walter Scott, and Michael Brown.
After the ceremony, Moss stated “I’m not here voicing, but by having these names on my tie, in a big platform like the Pro Football Hall of Fame, there’s a lot of stuff going on in our country and I just wanted these family members to know they’re not alone.”
Thank you, Randy Moss for standing up for something that is bigger than football…people’s lives.
