Sources claim that Fuller’s conduct was “inappropriate” towards women.

Team spokesperson Steven Drummond released this statement,

“After approaching Coach Fuller with the findings of an investigation into complaints of inappropriate conduct, we accepted his resignation. The Panthers are deeply committed to ensuring a safe, comfortable and diverse work environment where all individuals, regardless of sex, race, color, religion, gender, or sexual identity or orientation, are treated fairly and equally.”

The 39 year old had been with the Panthers since 2013 and was promoted to defensive backs coach last year after the promotion of Steve Wilks to Defensive Coordinator.

The resignation of Fuller came a week after one of the three women came forward about the harassment received from owner Jerry Richardson, the entire organization including Coach Ron Rivera and the NFL through letters printed by Sports Illustrated.

Richardson announced his decision to sell the team in December. South Carolina billionaire Ben Navarro still appears to be the front runner on purchasing the team.
