Recently, Chris Brown caught some heat for the baby monkey he got his 3 year old daughter, Royalty, for Christmas. After seeing pics of the pet monkey on social media, several people reported Chris to the authorities. Turns out, Chris never got a permit for the exotic animal. So before his home could be raided, he voluntarily surrendered the animal. However, he could still be facing charges for having a restricted species with a permit, which is a misdemeanor that carries a maximum 6 months in jail.
