Well he is OUT. David Gettleman, the General Manager of the Carolina Panthers was fired earlier today by the organization. This move was made nine days before the ‘Cats’ are scheduled to start training camp at Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The Panthers have not stated why they decided to let Gettleman go, but many of the players definitely were not (& still are not) fond of this guy. I mean he did part ways with some of the best Panthers like Steve Smith, D’Angelo Williams, & the move no one understood…..Josh Norman. On the bright side, the Panthers did go to the Super Bowl with him at the helm so he can put that on his resume. I’m sure you’ll see a rejuvenated Panthers team this season that will return to it’s winning ways now that he’s gone, & that’s just the truth. Playoff bound for sure! Go PANTHERS!!!
