Venus Williams has a few things to celebrate today! Not only is she is advancing to the quarterfinals at Wimbledon, but new details about her fatal car accident could get her off the hook of a wrongful death lawsuit. Venus had a car accident on June 9, 2017, that later claimed the life of an elderly man. Initially, the Palm Beach Florida police declared that Venus was at fault. However, after reviewing the surveillance tape of the accident, the police have retracted their statement and admitted that their “initial findings were incorrect”. Now, the next question is…will this make the wrongful death lawsuit the family launched go away? I’m not sure, but we’re going to continue to watch this story and keep you posted.
