We finally know why Prince’s estate shut down producer, George Ian Boxill’s attempt to release the “Deliverance” album. The album was scheduled to be released on the one year anniversary of Prince’s death. Reportedly, the estate is planning to do a reality show featuring Prince’s family members and how their life has changed since he died. The ultimate goal is to debut the new music on the show! In the meantime, the courts have ordered Boxhill to turn over all the music to the estate, but he’s still fighting that! Also, no deal has been inked to air the reality show.
