Morgan Freeman is set to produce a docuseries about Rodney King. He already has the rights to footage of King that was taped before he drowned in 2012. The docuseries will explore King’s life as a youth growing up with an alcoholic father, navigating his civil trial and injuries and becoming a civil rights leader.
