Ronald Gasser, the suspect in the Joe McKnight case has been charged with manslaughter. Gasser is accused of killing McKnight in a road rage incident in New Orleans. Jefferson Parish Sheriff, Newell Normand, said Gasser was initially taken into custody and released for strategic investigative reasons and because authorities needed to talk to witnesses. Gasser has now been arrested and is in jail on a manslaughter charge.
