Many have tried, but none have succeeded in making a biopic movie about Marvin Gaye’s life….until now! According to the Hollywood Reporter, the Gaye family has given Jamie Foxx the green light to executive produce a limited series about Marvin Gaye’s life. Foxx stated, “I’ve been a huge fan my whole life, his brilliance in music unparalleled. Marvin Gaye’s story has always fascinated me.” Berry Gordy has also given his approval, “Marvin was the truest artist I have ever known. I am confident that this is the right team to bring his story to the audience in an authentic and compelling way.” I can’t wait to see what Jamie Foxx’s finished product!
