A Tornado warning has been issued for the Charlotte area (Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, & Union counties). A wind advisory & severe thunderstorm warning is also in effect, & they are asking folks to suspend travel if possible. Stay inside & secure loose things inside your home. The warning is in effect until 7pm tonight so please be careful!
