Charlotte’s business, community and church leaders joined hundreds of people at Romare Bearden Park on Sunday for One Charlotte Day. It was a day of prayer, music and promises to eradicate the disparities that divide Charlotte into haves and have-nots. Novant’s Jesse Cureton (a Charlotte native), Bank of America’s Brett Carter and Carolinas Healthcare System’s Gene Woods founded One Charlotte after the September riots.
