The first woman to serve as the US Attorney General, Janet Reno, has died.  Reno died on Monday at the age of 78 at her home in Miami-Dade County in Florida.  Her sister, Margaret Hurchalla, said the cause was complications of Parkinson’s disease, which was diagnosed in November 1995, while she was still in office.
