Suge Knight maybe in jail on murder charges, but he is still moving forward with his lawsuit against Dr. Dre. Suge claims that Dr. Dre hired a hitman to kill him and it was because of the deal with Apple for the “Beats by Dre.” According to Suge, he has a “lifetime management deal” with Dre, which entitles him to a 30% cut of Dre’s entertainment earnings. So when Dre got the “Beats” deal, he tried to cut Suge out of the deal. Also according to TMZ, Apple didn’t want the negative association with Suge either. So at the 2014 VMA’s, Suge claims he was shot 7 times in the abdomen by Dre’s hitman, but survived. I will keep you posted on new developments in this lawsuit!
