WWE is being hit with a major lawsuit. According to Reuters, over 50 different plaintiffs, people who worked as wrestlers for WWE, want the company to be held responsible for neurological injuries sustained in the ring. The lawsuit also claims that WWE and Chairman, Vince McMahon, deliberately classified wrestlers as “independent contractors” and not employees to escape liability under federal and state worker protections laws. The plaintiffs are asking for compensation, punitive damages, and improved medical care.
