After rave reviews at the 2016 American Black Film Festival, TV One’s Bad Dad Rehab will make its television debut on Sunday July 3rd. The network has assembled an all-star cast (Malik Yoba, Robert Ri’Chard, Rob Riley Wesley Jonathan and Kandi Burruss) to tell the stories of four men in denial of their poor parenting skills. They then attend a rehab for deadbeat dads with unusual methods to help them become true fathers and real men.

Malik talks to the Tom Joyner Morning Show about why this is the best role he’s ever played and the importance of girls having their fathers in their lives.

The serious impact of Bad Dad Rehab:

“It’s the best film I’ve ever done. I’ve never seen a film deal with men and our daddy issues that can be done in a funny and engaging way. I applaud TV One to be the first network. This is the type of programming we need to see,” Yoba said.

Bad Dad Rehab, premieres on TV One on Sunday, July 3rd at 7 p.m. ET and again at 9 p.m. ET.
