Gladys Knight is in the news! According to WSB-TV , Glady’s Knight Chicken & Waffles restaurant in Atlanta, Georgia was raided by the Georgia Department of Revenue. The location is owned by Knight’s son, Shanga Hankerson, and is under investigation for tax evasion to the tune of $1 million. So far, police have raided and shut down three of the Glady Knight Chicken & Waffle locations. However, Gladys Knight herself, is not included in the investigation, but the restaurants carry her name.
