Muhammad Ali died over the weekend. His daughter, Layla Ali, appeared on Good Morning America this morning with Robin Roberts. She stated that she was comforted with the idea that her day is “not suffering anymore.” She described her dad as being “trapped inside of his body” while battling Parkinson Disease.
Muhammad Ali’s body is now back in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. Louisville will honor the champ with a procession through the city on Friday, followed by a public funeral at the Louisville KFC Yum! Center. Former President Clinton will be one of many guest speakers at the funeral. The family stated that Ali was a “citizen of the world” and he wanted people from all walks of life to attend!
