Well, the new movie, “Barbershop 3: The Next Cut” may be halted due to a lawsuit. JD Lawrence, a play writer, is asking a judge to shut down the movie. According to Lawrence, all three Barbershop movies have similarities to his stage play, “Scissors,” which he wrote and toured around the country from 1998-2001. Reportedly, Lawrence is suing Warner Brothers and Showtime for $20 million and he wants to block the release of “Barbershop 3: The Next Cut” from debuting in theaters this Friday, April 15th!
