Families around the country are struggling to make ends meet. Paying bills and more disappointingly, simply putting food on the table has become increasingly uncertain. In North Carolina alone, well over 100,000 families are not certain if they will eat – tonight. But there’s always hope. The Second Harvest Food Bank continues to do an extraordinary job at helping families in need. ‘COMMUNITY VOICES’ host, Ron Holland, talked with Kay Carter, CEO of the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina about her ongoing efforts to provide meals to families.
