Tishea Medley is a skilled Human Resources professional who offers 4+ years of recruiting and program management experience in a fast paced environment across healthcare & health insurance sectors. Tishea takes great pride in successfully managing/staffing 3 high volume, full cycle, call centers at BCBSNC. Kimberly Evans is a native of North Carolina and a graduate of Mt. Olive College.  She has been an employee of Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC since 2006 beginning in Commercial Operations and then transitioning to HR.  For the last 3 years she has worked as a member of the Talent Acquisition team.  One of her greatest areas of fulfillment within this role is the facilitation of Career Development, Resume and Interview workshops; conducting dozens of them each year for Blue Cross employees as well as within the surrounding communities.  It is her desire to equip job seekers with every tool and all information possible in an effort to maximize their opportunity for employment, promotion and optimal compensation.

Yvette J. Munroe is the Founder and President of Holy Millionaire Club.  She is a serial Entrepreneur, a published author, public speaker, minister, and business development consultant.  Yvette J. Munroe has spent more than 30 years in the work of helping others achieve greatness. Her passion and commitment is evident in her social entrepreneurship endeavors.  Ms. Munroe founded an early education center, a healthcare organization, a high impact tutoring program, and a Charter School.   She has provided business consulting and coaching services to entrepreneurs for more than 10 years.

After receiving a quality education and landing her dream job, Ms. Munroe found her life wanting.  She decided to take a leap of faith, leave her dream job and pursue her passion.  Being passionate about stopping the cycle of poverty, she opened a high quality early education center.  Realizing that children and families were challenged with complex health care needs, Mrs. Munroe founded and ran a behavioral healthcare organization.  She successfully managed this organization in removing barriers to accessing effective healthcare.  Leading a team of physicians, psychologists and health care professionals she worked to empower all citizens with hope, help, and healing.   This work resulted in positive outcomes for persons served. This organization generated millions of dollars in revenue annually.

Intensifying  her actions  to bring people into abundance, Ms. Munroe founded a charter school.  The Institute for the Development of Young Leaders serves children in kindergarten through 8th grade.  She enjoys her role as a transformational leader of educators dedicated to changing the course of young lives.

Mrs. Munroe has been happily married to Courtney Munroe for 24 years.  They share 2 highly successful adult children and are currently empty nesters.

The Holy Millionaire Club is the newest program developed by Yvette J. Munroe to provide training and support to entrepreneurs and business leaders.  Through this program Ms. Munroe provides coaching, consulting and business services to entrepreneurs in an effort to assist them in launching or growing their business. About Sandra Dubose

Sandra Dubose is clearly on her way to becoming an international,multi-media success. This native New Yorker, known as The Bald Beauty Queen of Self-Esteem, is a dynamic motivational speaker, author and smooth jazz vocalist with an inspiring personal story that has made history, and national media headlines. Sandra is a role model for women of all ages and teaches them how to build healthy self-esteem through the practice of self love and self acceptance. She is a patient advocate for women’s health issues and has been ever since the age of 25, when she was diagnosed with the autoimmune disease, alopecia areata. This incurable condition resulted in the loss of all of the hair on her scalp and body and subsequently, the loss of her self-esteem. As president of Parents for Educational Freedom in North Carolina, Darrell Allison continues to lead strategic efforts to redefine the meaning of public education. To him, it means every parent, regardless of income or zip code, should have the ability to choose the educational model that best meets the needs of their children. Darrell has worked toward the passage of several parental school choice milestones in North Carolina, including the elimination of the public charter school cap, the creation of the Children with Disabilities Grant, and the Opportunity Scholarship Program. A former White House intern, Darrell graduated magna cum laude from North Carolina Central University and received his juris doctor from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law.

Actress Keshia Knight Pulliam Hartwell is the youngest person ever to be nominated for an Emmy Award. At 5 years old, Keshia was cast as Rudy Huxtable on “The Cosby Show.” Keshia has starred in multiple TV movies and films and was a cast member of Tyler Perry’s award-winning show, “House of Payne.” A graduate of Spelman College, Keshia started her non-profit, the Kamp Kizzy Foundation, in 2010. Using her background in sociology, Keshia has created a free mentorship camp for youth ages 11-16 in her current home of Atlanta, GA. Having herself attended public schools and nonpublic schools during her educational journey, Keshia understands the power of parental school choice and the importance of making sure that all families exercise that right.

Tammi Sutton, Founder & Executive Director Of KIPP NC Public Schools

Tammi Sutton is the Founder and Executive Director of KIPP ENC Public Schools, which includes KIPP Gaston College Preparatory (GCP), KIPP Halifax College Preparatory and KIPP Durham College Preparatory. In 2003, she was the recipient of the Kinder Excellence in Teaching Award. Two years ago, Tammi was appointed by the Governor to the NC Charter Advisory Board, and she has previously served on the North Carolina Blue Ribbon Commission on Charter Schools. Tammi, a first-generation college graduate, earned her BA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with degrees in English and Political Science. She earned her Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from National-Louis University.

Minnie Forte-Brown, Chair of the Durham Public Schools Board of Education

Minnie Forte-Brown is Chair of the Durham Public Schools Board of Education. A retired communications specialist and master teacher, Dr. Forte-Brown taught in the Department of English and Mass Communications at North Carolina Central University. She is a member of the NC School Board Association Board of Directors and also serves as an officer for the National School Board Association. Dr. Forte-Brown is on the Steering Committee and Resolutions Committee and serves as the Vice-Chair for the Council of Urban Boards of Education. Additionally, she was appointed to the NC Council of the Status of Women and the Gang Advisory Task Force. She is also co-founder of the East Durham Children’s Initiative (EDCI).
