The Women’s UFC fighter that had everyone talking just a few months ago just got a taste of her own medicine last night. Holly Holm, known for taking down the notoriously unbeatable Ronda Rousey in just two rounds, was defeated in last night’s match against Miesha Tate.

The big upset happened when Tate latched onto Holm with a fierce headlock. Holm was unable to free herself from Tate’s grip and was put to sleep in the 5th round. Holms was looking like she’d go far with the championship belt after effortlessly knocking out Rousey with a devastating head kick. Many UFC fans were happy to see Rousey go down, since she often displayed bad sportsmanship and bullied other fighters. Now that Tate has the belt, she’ll face off with Rousey (who has beaten her twice before) later this year.

UFC President Dana White broke the news of Holm’s loss to Rousey, who hadn’t been watching the fight. “I said ‘Miesha just choked her unconscious’ and [Rousey] said ‘Looks like I’ve got to get back to work.’”

Rousey is scheduled to return to the UFC sometime in October.
