According to Shadow & Act, Jamie Foxx is set to star in an Oliver Stone directed biopic of Martin Luther King. The Dreamworks/Warner Bros film will follow MLK from his rise to leader of the civil rights movement until his assassination in 1968.
Foxx won an Oscar for his portrayal of Ray Charles in ‘Ray’ in 2004. We’ve got a lot of faith in the “Blame it on the Alcohol’ singer to put in another award-winning performance. We just hope they give him enough make-up to help us forget about those ridiculous Jamie Foxx show skits. And speaking of funny skits, if you’ve never watched the clip below, watch it–now.
