Spike lee was able to work his connections in the movie industry and get his new movie, “Chi-Raq” in movie theaters everywhere across the nation. A few months ago, Chicago’s Mayor, Rahm Emanuel, attempted to block the release of this movie which is based upon the violent streets of his windy city, but it didn’t work. The movie features some major players like: Samuel L. Jackson, Wesley Snipes, Angela Bassett, and Teyonah Parris! “Chi-Raq” drops in theaters everywhere TODAY! Check out the trailer!
