Veteran actor Giancarlo Esposito plays the role of Jorge in the film Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials, in theaters September 18th. He’s known for playing scary characters including Gus on the popular series Breaking Bad, but he says he’s really not a bad guy and says Jorge is a little different from other characters he’s played in the past.”

“It is the second installment of Maze Runner. It takes us out the maze. It has a great young cast. It’s really designed to be a sci-fi adventure. I play a character named Jorge. He’s a little bit different than some of the characters I’ve played. He’s little bit of fun. It’s one of those movies where you sit there and you can’t take a breath,” Esposito said. “So get ready to be worn out.”

Some folks including J. Anthony Brown and Skip think Esposito would make a great President Obama when the obligatory biopic is made.

“I love what he’s doing,” Esposito says. “I met him years ago at the Democratic National Convention. The movie that he went to see with his wife, Michelle on his first date was Do The Right Thing.”
