I mean I heard about…..true indeed, but seeing it for my own eyes was just really something else! Carowinds tore down one of the original signature rides (& one of my favorites) “Thunder Road”. Honestly ya’ll, I grew up on this ride! White Lightning, the Water Log, Scooby Doo, Gold Rush, all the originals! When they got rid of “White Lightning” I kind of understood, it had become outdated as a coaster (it only had one loop). Now, to get rid of “Thunder Road”,….that’s a timeless classic! It’s the classic coaster!! Oh well…..R.I.P. “Thunder Road”, thanks for all the memories. I’m OUT!
