Charlotte community leaders responded generally quietly in reaction to the Kerrick trial decision.
Many are supportive of the court system’s outcome, though disagree with it. Others are are asking for a retrial.
The New Outreach Christian Center held prayer yesterday afternoon, petitioning God for peace in our city.
Pastor Brenda Stevenson, said she mainly wanted to pray for the Ferrell family and respect their wishes for peaceful demonstrations.
