Three burglars forced themselves into Chris Brown‘s San Fernando Valley home and locked his aunt in the closet after holding her at gunpoint early Wednesday morning.

According to TMZ, the robbers ransacked the home, stole money, property and fled. Brown’s aunt called 911 but the perpetrators were long gone by the time they got there.

Chris was not at home at the time of the incident. He was spotted leaving the club the exact time the robbery went down. Chris recently moved into the new home for a fresh start and shared pics of the lavish spread on Instagram. He has since deleted the photos.

His mother sent out this cryptic tweet insinuating that the robbery was perpetrated by someone close to Chris.

A woman broke into his prior home earlier this year. Chris found her naked in his bed when came home from Vegas. He then moved. It seems like Chris is trying to change his life, but has many negative influences still in his circle. We pray for his family’s safety.
