A major manhunt is underway for the kingpin of the most prolific, powerful and violent drug cartels in Mexican history.
Mexican drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman escaped prison through a hole in prison shower down to underground tunnels where he eluded authorities by exiting in a half-built field house.
This is the second time “El Chapo” has escaped from prison. In the first instance, he escaped a high-security prison back in 2001, and was not apprehended until 2014.
