After Apple unveiled its new music service at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in San Francisco this past Monday (June 8), Tyler, The Creator took to Twitter to blast Apple, claiming that the organization is trying to “control every fuc*ing thing.”

During Monday’s conference, Young Money artist Drake announced that he would be releasing his forthcoming studio album, Views from the 6, via Apple Music’s Connect feature.

“Instead of having to post your stuff on these different and sometimes confusing places, it’s all in one place: Connect,” Drake said.

It appears as though Apple Music will rival Spotify and the Jay Z-owned TIDAL. For $9.99 per month, the streaming service is set to include Beats 1 — a live radio station broadcast 24/7 featuring Zane Lowe in Los Angeles, Ebro Darden in New York and Julie Adenuga in London. The service will also feature Connect — a social media for musicians where artists can share lyrics, behind-the-scenes photos and other goodies for fan interaction.
