The Yankees have recreated a scene from one of the most iconic baseball movies of all time, The Sandlot.

If you were a kid in the ’90s chances are you probably know the movie by heart. The Bronx Bombers are no different. This remake stars Brett Gardner as Smalls, Brian McCann as Ham Porter and Jacoby Ellsbury as Squints.

These guy are great ball players, and as actors, well all I can say is, “You’re killing me Smalls.”

The Yanks remade the famous scene where the guys are incredulous that Smalls has never heard of baseball legend Babe Ruth. And they think he’s completely crazy for playing with and then losing a ball autographed by perhaps the most famous hitter of all time.

Now that the Yankees have set the bar for baseball movie remakes, the Cleveland Indians have to step up their game and go for the gold in a Major League remake.
