Celeste Trahan from Elizabeth City State University is amongst CIAA career leaders, she finished fourth in scoring, second in rebounding and 15th in steals. During her 2007-2008 season, she became the first woman in NCAA Division II history to record 2,000 points and 1,500 rebounds in a career. Trahan was a two-time CIAA Player of the Year (2007, 08); she was tabbed as the Defensive Player of the Year in 2008 and was the first basketball player in ECSU history to be named All-CIAA four straight years.
