Operation: “snatch those letters” is complete! Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. has announced that they have expelled 4 sorority members who were featured on VH1’s show, Sorority Sisters! Now, what does expelled mean? It means they are no longer a members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and are in no way considered a “Delta”. The expulsion list includes cast members: Priyanka Banks, MeToya Monroe, Adrene Ashford, and Shana McCormick. The actions took place on Tuesday, January 13, 2015, also known as the sorority’s Founders’ Day. A few weeks ago, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. took action against their sorority members featured in the show as well. However, their punishment was only a suspension from the sorority. The difference in how each sorority disciplined its members has caused great debate! Do you think the Deltas were too hard on its members, or do you think the AKA’s went to easy?
