Prince and his rock band 3RDEYEGIRL brought down the house at 30 Rockefeller Center for “Saturday Night Live.”

The audience was in for the ultimate show last night as “SNL” alum Chris Rock hosted the show, and Prince offered up an assist as the musical guest.

Breaking from the usual format, Prince just did one nine-minute set as he performed a mashup of three different songs. Chris presented Prince and his girls with the appropriate amount of excitement, shouting, “You are so lucky.”

There was way more to the show than Prince’s performance. Check out some of our favorite moments from the show below!

1. Chris Rock Returns To Stand-Up

Monologues set the tone for the entire show, and they almost always look a little too rehearsed. Instead of trying to write-up a mini-sketch, Chris just did short stand-up set, where he mused about the Boston Marathon bombing, NYC’s Freedom Tower and holiday materialism. These are all pretty sensitive subjects, but Chris made them funny!

2. Chris Rocks Can’t Figure Kids & Technology

Chris couldn’t figure out what his daughter (played by Sasheer Zamata) was doing during dance blog live stream.

3. Chris Rock Gives His Opinion On Obama

Chris waxed political during for a PBS round-table about current events from the Black perspective…centered mostly on President Barack Obama.

BONUS: “Weekend Update” Spoofs Katt Williams And Suge Knight

Chris coudn’t be in every sketch, but this parody of Suge Knight and Katt Williams was still hilarious. BTW…is that the same outfit Drake wore to play Katt?!
