According to Richard Pryor Jr., his father was mentally incapacitated when his wife, Jennifer Lee Pryor, duped him into signing over the rights to his name and ability to authorize a Richard Pryor biopic that’s in the works.
Jennifer has been at odds with the children of the late Richard Pryor over the film and Richard Jr. is threatening legal action and he feels that he or Nick Canon should play his late father.
