The Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office has issued an arrest warrant for Angelo Grayson Smith, Junior for a charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Smith’s girlfriend, Bianca Tanner, disappeared two weeks ago, and is a former teacher in the Greensboro area who recently moved to Charlotte with her three-year-old.
Police are claiming her disappearance as a homicide.
Charlotte Mecklenburg Police reports that Smith was the last person to see his girlfriend. The search warrant released by police reports that Tanner’s son had witnessed Smith abusing his mother.
Smith has not been named as a suspect or person of interest in the missing teacher’s case. It’s unclear if the new arrest warrant is connected to the Tanner case.
Tanner’s family was unaware of the arrest warrant and would like to know more details. Tanner’s family are currently in Charlotte still searching for the missing woman.
