The Daily Show With Jon Stewart is a fake news program. They do not cover the news in the ‘legitimate’ way that traditional news programs like CNN, MSNBC and Fox News do. They approach the news from a comedic standpoint.
Despite this, they have had everyone from best selling authors to the President Of The United States as guests on the show.
But on Tuesday, October 8, they had someone unique. A 16 year old girl. Her name is Malala Yousefzai and she is from Pakistan. The Taliban attempted to kill her by shooting her in the head and neck for simply going to school. Since recovering, she’s become a worldwide spokesperson for the education of girls and women.
Jon Stewart, to say the least, was wow’ed by her conviction.
