1) Get Fired!
Now, don’t go and tell your parents GIANT told you to get fired, but you need to understand how to deal with the financial and emotional turmoil that comes from losing your job as a single person.

As someone who has lived in D.C. and Chicago by herself, there’s a certain independence that’s required to survive all on your lonesome in a place you’re not familiar with. There’s a lot of ups and downs that come along with that too, but they all help to make you a more well rounded individual.
3) Be Selfish
During this time in your life it’s okay, hell, even vital to concern yourself with you! Your goals. Your dreams. Your ambitions. Use this time not to necessarily sh*t on other people, but put yourself first. You can’t have that attitude if you’re a husband or wife.
4) Have CRAZY RECKLESS FUN!
Is marriage boring? No! However, they don’t call it your 20s for nothing. Use this decade to do those embarrassing, shameful, dangerous things that are probably illegal in most states…but if you get caught, GIANT won’t be there to post your bail:)
5) Have a one-night stand
What we’re not telling you to do is have unprotected sex. But what we are telling you is, if you a bring a guy or gal (or both) home from the bar, no judgment!
6) Accomplish something big!
There’s no better feeling than scoring that perfect job, or finally having saved up enough money to get that well-deserved new ride. Yes, you can accomplish great things in marriage, but for your own personal ego, accomplishing a few things dolo helps to make you a better individual.
7) Start A Dance Battle In Kazakhstan.
I mean…why not? How many people can say they dougied with someone in Kazakhstan aside from Borat? I’m telling you, the cool points go through the roof with this one.
8) Remember You’re Young
There’s nothing wrong with marriage, but you’re only young once, so live it the f*ck up and have some stories to tell.
