To honor the 150th anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation, Wells Fargo joins with the Harvey B. Gantt Center  to display The Kinsey Collection: Shared Treasures of Bernard and Shirley Kinsey –Where Art and History Intersect.  The  exhibition  opens to the public on Saturday, June 29 and will contain a collection of art and artifacts examining 400 years of the African-American experience, including an early copy of the Emancipation Proclamation.

There will also be a meet and greet party this Friday at the Harvey B. Gantt Center hosted by Herb and Felicia Gray starting at 5:30pm.

So if you are looking for something to do this weekend, educate you and your family at the Harvey B. Gantt Center.

Party is Free to the Public

Exhibition Admission starts on Saturday June 29 – October 12th. Adults $8, Seniors, Educators, Students and Military $6, Groups 10 or more $5 , free for members and children 5 and under
