Breast cancer detection has always been an unfortunate process involving uncomfortable mammograms that flatten out the breast and a series of guesses between doctors. Thanks to 17-year-old Brittany Wenger that aspect of the process is done.

The Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) test is one of the least effective breast cancer detectors. Or, rather, it was one of the least effective. Using a computer program that runs on the cloud Brittany’s reinvented FNA process can detect breast cancer with 99.11% accuracy.

Pretty sure she no longer has to worry about tuition for college thanks to her work at the Google Science Fair.
