Children are young and curious which means they have few responsibilities and endless reams of time to pursue them. There is no reason why that curiosity should not be used to help make the world a better place. Fortunately, some parents with smart kids are doing just that.

Eesha Khare of Saratoga, Florida invented something that could radically change cell phone usage. Her supercapacitor can charge a cell phone battery in 20 seconds and run for 100 times more than today’s conventional cell phone batteries. Eesha Khare is 18 years old.

Her invention won her the $50,000 prize at the Intel International Science And Engineering Fair. Should her device get patented and utilized by big companies she could stand to make a lot more than $50,000. It will pay for college, her first house, her wedding, her Rolls Royce and her children’s children’s children’s educations.
